NSK autoclaves are steam sterilisation units designed for effective instrument decontamination in dental and clinical environments. They use pressurised saturated steam to destroy microorganisms, including bacteria, viruses and spores.
Many NSK models use vacuum (Class B) sterilisation, allowing steam to fully penetrate hollow and complex instruments such as dental handpieces. A high-conductivity chamber design ensures even heat distribution, improving sterilisation efficiency and drying performance while helping to protect delicate instruments.
NSK autoclaves are designed for reliable operation, ease of use and traceability, supporting safe clinical workflows and compliance with UK infection-control standards.
The iClave 18 is a Class B vacuum steam autoclave designed for the sterilisation of wrapped, unwrapped, hollow and porous dental and clinical instruments. It features an 18 litre chamber with multiple tray levels to optimise loading. Sterilisation cycles include universal, prion and fast programmes at standard temperatures such as 134 °C. The autoclave provides even steam distribution, integrated drying and simple, user-friendly controls, along with safety features and USB data logging for traceability. Its compact design makes it ideal for routine use in dental surgeries.
The iClave 24 offers the same Class B vacuum sterilisation as the iClave 18 but with a larger 24 litre chamber and a 5-tray system to maximise load capacity (up to ~7 kg). It supports multiple sterilisation programmes, including universal, prion, fast and 121 °C cycles, ensuring thorough sterilisation and drying. The unit features a clear, intuitive interface, USB data export and optional printer connectivity, making it suitable for busier practices requiring higher throughput while maintaining instrument safety and compliance.
The NSK iClave Plus is an 18 litre Class B vacuum steam autoclave for dental and clinical instruments. Its high‑conductivity copper chamber provides more usable space and ensures even heat distribution for reliable sterilisation. The vacuum system removes air for thorough steam penetration of wrapped, hollow and solid instruments, while integrated drying with a bacterial filter reduces re‑contamination. The autoclave features a clear control panel and USB data logging for traceability, and is gentle on delicate instruments such as handpieces.
